These documents have been placed on the Internet to help other computer teachers get a jump start on their classes and for people that may want to learn at their own pace. Make sure you are looking at the software and following right along with the sheets. If you just read the material without having the software in front of you, they will not be as useful.
It is important for the teacher to provide "hands on" worksheets as often as posssible since that is the way people learn how to use computers, not by just reading text or listening to a lecture.
The documents build on top of each other, so if you are finding that terminology is being used that you are not familiar with, check in the other sheets to see where the term or concept was introduced. Recommended order: Basic Computer Knowledge, Word, and then either Excel, Powerpoint, or Access (from beginning of syllabus to the end).
